Is this a certification?
No. This is an education program focused on brow ink reset frameworks, client screening, and studio workflow.
Will this teach me laser settings and parameters?
Yes they are, but for the brow procedures only in this foundations course - add on modules are available for eyeliner, lips and body art fading.
Do you teach device operation, calibration, and hands-on technique?
I do show how to do all of this while using your own best judgement. I show you exactly where to start and what to look for. I show you how to setup your machine when it arrives and all the calibrations I do as well as the parameters and settings I use for brow specific procedures. THERE IS NO HANDS ON available this is strictly online based education.
Do I need previous laser experience?
You’ll understand the framework and how to think through and perform procedures. You should feel confident enough to perform them after watching this education however hands-on competency or furthering education will ultimately be up to you, it will depend on your own training, practice, and local requirements.
Do you teach alternative removal methods like saline/chemical?
No technique instruction on these but you’ll get an educational overview of all these alternative options, how they work and when referral may be appropriate.
What if your exact laser setup isn’t available where I live?
This is ultimately up to your discretion, UNT laser will ship worldwide to your home address. Even if you end up not purchasing a laser, all this information is very valuable to be educated in and to better direct your clients.
